what's some good food for muscle pain?
I'm sure cheese crackers and pickles aren't going to help!
The soups have been sounding good. I'd like to figure out how to make my own...since a lot of soups seem to be in the junk food category with salt and sugar

Re: pain
Sat, February 26, 2005 - 12:33 PMI had to look this up. I am assuming you mean muscle pain from exercise aye?
For some reason, a long time ago, i thought i heard that banannas were good for this (or foods high in potassium), but I couldn't find any info to that effect.
Instead I found this article that says that coffee will relieve muscle pain:

Interesting. So i'm going to make myself from tea... :-)

Sun, February 27, 2005 - 1:56 PMI swear by arnica (you can find it in the homeopathy section of any healthe food store, you know, in case you were driving by one). I find that when I dump my workouts for a month or two (or four) then jump back in full throttle I tend to get really sore. like, I can't move kinda sore. arnica does the trick every time.

Sun, February 27, 2005 - 4:36 PMsoup is easy - just throw whatever sounds good into a pot of water! Season with spices, herbs, salt and simmer for a bit.
Are you sick or achy from a workout?
