ice cream is mostly fat, right? I'm a scrawny motherfunker that recently quit all processed sugar, but I'm wondering how far I should take it. Is there some kind of natural ice cream out there, with no added sugar?

Depends what you mean by "all processed sugars".
Kinda also matters what your goals are. Is this a personal health choice, or a planetary responsibility question?
Both, and maybe more? A fetish? Pre-Samhain purification? Ok, now I'm just prying.
A cheap DeLongi icecream maker can run as little as $35, but they're tedious to use, and kinda suck. Decent icecream makers start at around $120, and a fancy one can run considerably higher.
If by processed sugar you mean refined sugar, then dried cane juice is adequate for making icecream.
If you want to avoid the issue altogether, go primitive. Greek or Italian ice, made with or without heavy cream.
My personal addicting that way is pina colada ice, which has to be made with heavy cream to be any good.
Good rule of thumb: Make your own "junk food", you won't take out the nutrition, so it'll just be food!
