finally breaking the cycle

topic posted Wed, January 17, 2007 - 6:06 PM by  Poopy
Yeah..so i recently went through this major transition that cooresponded with the hollidays..where snakcy foods get into your system if you so much as look at them...

I have been eating out like crazy and snacking late at night and doing all the things that combined with my 31 year old metabolism that wasn't very good in the first place and my current lack of exercise...due to cold weather and day and night jobs
has kinda put me on an out-of-control cycle towards inevitable weight gain.

Today is the first day i have snapped out of the cycle
all i have eaten is sprouted hemp seed bread with tofu-cottage cheese
and i am drinking huge mugs of yerba mate and yogi-dieters tea (which is not the kind with senna in it)
At least I feel a little better about myself

distilled water (not spring) is good ... it detoxifies you quite a bit ...
yes the eating late at night is bad bad bad ...
and not exercising is in itself the biggest reason why so many people are overweight/unhappy/sluggish etc etc etc ................

together , we can do this

The cycle is very hard to break.
Have you looked at finding a face 2 face support group?
I'm not perfect at all i've been a binge eater on junk food for years. since i was 7 so yea 20 years.
I find thought that i had to start slowly changing a habbit at a time. Increase water, then eliminate one or two bad foods replacing them with one or two healthy foods that i liked. However, the increase of water is most important it will eliminate toxins in your body. Oh hell yesterday i had a break down i ate 3 slices of fudge cake, 3 cookies strawberry coco nut flavour and a hamburger with everything except cheese and mayo. today i've had horrible hedaches and feeling just out of it. once you find a balance your body is happy with you'll feel better and chances are you'll even loose weight. Activity is important to but i haven't gotten to that.
